To become pediatricians, you first need to complete all 4 years of college, and receive a bachelor's degree from the college. Then they need to complete 4 years of medical school to receive a MD(doctor of medicine) or DO(doctor of osteopathic medicine). During the 4th year, they work with advisors to select rotations that help them decide their future career choice. After graduating, they enter into residency to continue training, and peds training is 3 year.
